Vegan Pie Crust Brands

Vegan and Plant-based Pie Crust Brands

No matter what kind of pie you’re trying to make, save some time by picking up a store-bought vegan pie crust!

Not all premade pie crusts are vegan-friendly. Some contain dairy products like butter or milk, while others contain animal ingredients like eggs and lard. And some pie crusts have tricky ingredients that may or may not be vegan-friendly, including non-organic sugar, mono- and diglycerides, certain dyes, and more.

This list of vegan pie crust brands will help you find a pie crust that is suitable for your diet. If you are looking for a gluten-free vegan pie crust, any pie crust that is vegan and also gluten-free will have (GF) written next to it.

Product ingredients can change at any time. Always read ingredient lists and allergen warnings before purchasing any of the products on this guide.

Keebler Ready Crusts

Keebler pie crusts - shortbread, chocolate, and graham

Keebler pie crusts have no obvious animal products! These pie crusts are ready to eat, meaning they do not require baking and are better for dessert pies.

The only ingredient that is plant-based but may not be vegan is sugar (since it’s not organic, it might be processed with bone char). But except for the sugar, all three varieties of Keebler pie crusts are plant-based!

Where to Buy: You can buy Keebler products at many grocery stores including Walmart, Target, Publix, Kroger, Meijer, and more! Use Keebler’s store locator to see where you can buy these pie crusts online and in stores!

Keebler Plant-Based Pie Crusts:

  • Ready Crust Shortbread
  • Graham Cracker (includes Ready Crust, Low Fat, and Mini Pie Crusts)
  • Ready Crust Chocolate

Signature Select Deep Dish Pie Crusts

Signature Select Deep Dish Pie Crusts are plant-based! The only ingredient that is possibly not vegan is sugar because it’s not certified organic.

Be careful though — only the deep dish pie crusts (pictured) are plant-based. The boxed pie crusts contain lard and are not plant-based or vegan.

Where to Buy: Signature Select is a private label owned by Albertsons, so you can only find this pie crust at Albertsons and its affiliates (like Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, and Pavilions).

Signature Select Plant-Based Pie Crusts:

  • Deep Dish Pie Crusts

Diamond Pie Crusts

Some Diamond Pie Crusts are plant-based, and others are not. If you go with this brand, make sure to only choose Diamond’s Pumpkin Pie Spice Nut Pie Crust or their Pecan Pie Crust, as the other crusts contain honey and are not vegan-friendly.

Like many other plant-based brands, although these two crusts have plant-based ingredients, they contain non-organic sugar, which is not guaranteed vegan.

  • Pumpkin Pie Spice Nut Pie Crust
  • Pecan Pie Crust

    • Hi Dawn, I just checked out Trader Joe’s gluten-free pie crust, and it seems like they are made with both butter and eggs. Do they have another seasonal pie crust that is vegan-friendly?
