Matcha Chai Latte
Calming, plant-based matcha latte with chai spice

- 1/3 cup water
- 1 chai tea bag or the equivalent of loose leaf tea
- 1/2 tsp matcha powder
- 3/4 cup soy milk or plant milk of choice
- 1 tsp maple syrup or to taste
Pour hot water into a large mug. Steep 1 chai tea bag (or the equivalent of loose leaf tea) for about 3 minutes. Remove the bag and discard.
Sift matcha powder directly into the mug. Blend the matcha powder into the chai with a milk frother.
Add maple syrup and *hot* soy milk to the mug.
Mix everything together and froth the milk using a high-quality milk frother.
