Chia Seed Pancakes (Oil-Free)

Plant-based, oil-free pancakes with added protein.

Equipment

  • nonstick pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup flour all-purpose
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the dry ingredients in one bowl and all of the wet ingredients in another.
  • Mix all of the ingredients together and whisk well.
  • Heat an ungreased, nonstick pan on medium heat.
  • Pour some batter on the pan. When it starts to bubble, let it cook another minute or two and then flip. Cook the other side for about the same amount of time.
  • Serve with the toppings of your choice!

Notes

Nut-free option: choose a nut-free plant-based milk, such as oat milk or soy milk.
